Having operated alongside word-class surgeons throughout North and South America, Dr. Laliberte brings to the Canadian Rockies a practice that encompasses the breadth of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Laliberte is extensively trained in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery. After completing undergraduate and medical school at the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Laliberte specialized in Plastic Surgery at the University of Manitoba.
In his 5th year of residency, as Chief Resident, Dr. Laliberte attended the prestigious Pitanguy Clinic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he completed a cosmetic surgery internship and subsequently trained at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in complex reconstructive breast surgery. His subspecialty training continued with a one year Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at The Buncke Replantation & Transplantation Clinic in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Laliberte practiced in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for several years before moving to Canmore, Alberta to continue Dr. Thomas Sinclair’s legacy of best in class patient care, upon his retirement in December, 2018.
Dr. Laliberte is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of the Alberta Medical Association and is licensed to practice medicine by both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. He is also an active member of the Canadian and American Societies of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Laliberte is voluntarily involved with and supports Mercy Ships and Operation Rainbow Canada.
Mercy Ships
Mercy Ships is an international humanitarian organization committed to providing free quality health care for those who cannot afford it. Since 1978 their hospital ships have sailed to impoverished nations to perform free surgeries and provide training. On board, more than 400 volunteers – doctors, nurses, engineers, photographers, teachers, cooks and more give their time and skills to bring hope and healing to those in need.
Operation Rainbow Canada
Operation Rainbow Canada (ORC) is a 100% volunteer non-profit medical services organization that functions without paid staff to provide free reconstructive surgery and related health care for cleft lip and cleft palate deformities to impoverished children and young adults in developing countries.
